Yuletide Coconut Cherry Cookie Recipe Know the Secret Tips 

Crispy on the outside and soft on the interior are Yuletide Coconut Cherry Cookies. These are the ideal Christmas party cookies!   

– ½ cup butter – 3 ounce cream cheese – ½ cup sugar – ¼ teaspoon almond extract – 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking powder – ¼ teaspoon salt – ¾ cup coconut flake – 15 maraschino cherrie



Cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment until thoroughly combined, about one to two minutes.  


Add almond extract and beat. Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture gradually.   


Once an hour has passed or when it is manageable, cover and chill. Turn the oven on to 350°F. Roll dough into 1-inch spheres and coat with coconut flakes.   


Arrange on ungreased baking sheets 2 inches apart. Bake until gently browned, 12 to 15 minutes.  


Press a cherry half immediately in the middle of each cookie. Transfer to cooling wire racks.
