The BEST Taco Pasta Recipe

Taco pasta with pasta shells, ground meat, cheese, and spices creates a quick dinner! Family loves it and it just takes 30 minutes to cook! The whole family will appreciate taco pasta with salsa, tortilla chips, and shredded cheddar cheese.   

INGREDIENTS

– 1/2poundlarge shells pasta – 1tablespooncanola oil – 1poundground beef – 1yellow oniondiced – 4clovesgarlicminced – 2tablespoonstaco seasoning – 1/2teaspoondried oregano – 1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce – 1teaspoonred pepper flake – 3/4cupwater – 1cupjarred salsa – 1 1/2cupscheddar cheeseshredded – Salt to taste – Pepper to taste Garnish: – Cheese – Crushed tortilla chip – Sour cream – Chopped parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP-1

After cooking the pasta in accordance with the instructions on the box, drain it and set it aside.  

STEP-2

While this is going on, the oil should be added to a big skillet that is set over medium-high heat.   

STEP-3

As soon as it begins to sizzle, add the ground beef and brown it thoroughly, breaking it up with a spoon until it disappears from its pink color.  

STEP-4

With barely one to two tablespoons of fat remaining in the pan, drain the fat  

STEP-5

The onion and garlic should be added, stirred, and cooked for one minute.All of the following ingredients should be added: taco seasoning, dried oregano, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.   

STEP-6

After adding three quarters of a cup of water, stir the mixture and continue cooking until all of the water has evaporated.  

STEP-7

You should put the spaghetti in the pan. Include the cheese and salsa in the mixture. In order to mix, stir.  

STEP-8

This dish should be served immediately, preferably with a topping of crunchy tortilla chips, sour cream, and additional cheese.
