Sweetie Cherry Pie Lollipop Recipe Learn under Expert Guide

Make these Sweetie Cherry Pie Lollipops for your significant other on Valentine's Day; they're adorable, delicious, and appropriate for the holiday.

– 2 sheets puff pastry – ½ cup cherry pie filling – 1 egg – turbinado sugar

Preheat oven to 350℉. Parchment a baking sheet. Sprinkle flour on your workspace. Roll out a 12-by-12-inch pastry sheet.

I cut pastry into 5 hearts per row and 4 rows per sheet using a 2" heart cookie cutter. Pull and reserve the remaining pastry.

Put a cherry or tsp of cherry filling in 10 hearts. When topping with pastry, too much cherry filling makes it difficult.

Put lollipop sticks in heart-shaped pastries. Ten remaining heart pastries should be placed on top and forked to seal.

Use prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle turbinado sugar on each lollipop after egg wash. Use a tiny knife to slit each lollipop.

Repeat with remaining puff pastry. The leftover dough should be kneaded twice and rolled into a square like the other sheets.

Proceed with step 2. If you want your bread to be golden brown, bake it for about 20 to 25 minutes.
