One Pot Sausage Pasta

Instead of multiple pots, try this One Pot Sausage Pasta for a delicious, quick meal! The combination of savoury Italian sausage, tender pasta and homemade herby garlicky tomato sauce in one pot makes this recipe a game-changer!  

– 1 pound Italian sausage – 1 large onion – 4 cloves garlic – 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes  – 8 ounces tomato sauce – 12 ounces pasta  – 4 cups vegetable broth – 1 teaspoon dried basil – 1 teaspoon dried oregano – salt and pepper  – ½ cup Parmesan cheese

Sausage should be cooked in a big pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat for about five minutes, or until browned.

Add the onion and garlic, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until softened. Add the pasta, broth, basil, oregano, diced tomatoes, and salt and pepper.

Mix thoroughly to blend. After bringing the mixture to a boil, cover the pot and turn the heat down to medium.
