INGREDIENTS
SERVINGS: 24 BARSFOR THE PEANUT BUTTER LAYER:– 1 cup (230 grams) unsalted butter (melted and slightly cooled)– 1 cup (250 grams) creamy peanut butter– 2 cups (240 grams) powdered sugar– 2 cups (240 grams) graham cracker crumbFOR THE CHOCOLATE TOPPING:– 1 (12-ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chip– 1/4 cup (65 grams) creamy peanut butter
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Making the peanut butter layer:
Set aside a 9x13 baking pan lined with foil or parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
Step 2
Mix peanut butter and melted butter in a large bowl until mixed. Mix in the powdered sugar until blended. Add graham cracker crumbs 1 cup at a time and stir until mixed.
Step 3
Press the peanut butter mixture into an equal layer in the baking pan. Set aside.
Step 4
TO TOP WITH CHOCOLATE:
Place chocolate chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
Step 5
Stir thoroughly after each 20–30-second microwave increment until melted and smooth.
Step 6
Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
Step 7
Cover securely and refrigerate for at least 1.5 hours to firm the bars and set the chocolate topping.
Step 8
Once set, use the foil or parchment paper overhang to take the bars out of the pan, slice, and enjoy!
