Healthy Chocolate Mug Cake Recipe
A few simple ingredients make this Chocolate Mug Cake easy to make in the microwave. Perfect for simple chocolate desserts!
INGREDIENTS
SERVINGS: 1 MUG CAKE
– 1/4 cup (31 grams) all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)
– 2 tablespoons (10 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder
– 3 tablespoons (40 grams) granulated sugar
– 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
– Tiny pinch of salt
– 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk
– 2 tablespoons (30 ml) oil (canola, vegetable, or melted coconut oil)
– 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
– 1 tablespoon (14 grams) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Use nonstick cooking spray or butter to grease a 12-ounce or bigger mug. Put away.
Step 2
To make the cake, put the flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a different bowl and mix them together using a whisk.
Step 3
Mix in the milk, oil, and pure vanilla extract, and keep mixing until everything is well mixed.
Step 4
Add the chocolate chips to the mug after you pour the batter into it.
Step 5
Put the mug with the batter in the microwave and heat it for 60 to 90 seconds, or until the cake's centre is just set.
Step 6
Take the mug out of the microwave carefully because it will be hot. Let it cool a bit, then add your favourite toppings and enjoy!
