Delicious Pickled Red Onions Recipe

Simple ingredients make pickled red onions in minutes. Kosher salt, sugar, colourful peppercorns, garlic cloves, bay leaves, rice wine vinegar, and thinly sliced onions are enough.   

INGREDIENTS

– 3cupswater – 2teaspoonskosher salt – 2teaspoonssugar – 1teaspooncolorful peppercorn – 1 1/4cuprice wine vinegar – 3red onionsthinly sliced – 2garlic clove – 2bay leave

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP-1

One cup of water should be added to a saucepan of medium size and then placed over medium-high heat. 

STEP-2

This should be done before the water is brought to a boil.

STEP-3

At the point that the water reaches a boil, remove it from the heat and rapidly incorporate the peppercorns, sugar, and salt into the mixture. 

STEP-4

Keep swirling until the sugar and salt have completely dissolved to the desired consistency.

STEP-5

Toss the ingredients together after adding the rice wine vinegar and the chopped onions to the mixture.

STEP-6

It is recommended that you wait until the mixture has cooled down before adding it to the jars along with the other components.
