American Goulash Recipe

Comfort food at its best with this delicious American Goulash, full of succulent ground beef, tender elbow macaroni, and a rich tomato sauce that will take you to food heaven. 

– 1 tablespoon olive oil – 1½ pounds ground beef  – ½ teaspoon salt  – ½ teaspoon pepper  – 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning – 1 medium yellow onion – 3 cloves garlic – 28 ounces diced tomatoe – 2 cups passata – 2 tablespoons soy sauce – 2 cups beef broth  – 2 bay leave – 2 cups elbow macaroni  – 1½ cups cheddar cheese – 1 tablespoon parsley

Put olive oil in a large dutch oven on medium-high. Cook ground beef, salt, and pepper for 3–4 minutes, breaking it up.

Mix in onion and Italian seasoning. After 3–4 minutes, the onion should soften and become translucent.
